Fall wedding season kicked off with a great start! On 9.30.17, I had the honor of capturing Chad and Morgan's love-filled wedding day. The couple first met at church when they were 15 years old. Their parents were good friends in high school and Chad's mother is the reason that Morgan's parents even met! (How cool is that!!) Chad and Morgan started dating when they were sophomores in high school and have been together for 7 years. The groom proposed to his bride by taking her, to what she thought, a typical date to the San Marco Theater. After the credits of the movie ended, a video appeared on the screen beginning with 'Morgan'. Chad had made a film that showed pictures throughout their relationship and in the video, he talked about how much he loved Morgan. At the end, he got on one knee and asked her to be his wife. These two are a match made in heaven. I get so excited to shoot weddings that are all about the couple. It was raining on the day of the wedding but Morgan was still in such good spirit and it didn't let it bring her down. It luckily stopped raining just in time for us to take a few bride and groom portraits. (:
The two newlyweds are both musically gifted. Of course they had to incorporate that in their most memorable day by surprising their guest with them singing a duet together at their reception. They sang a cover of 'Like I'm gonna Lose You' by Meghan Trainor and John Legend. They were accompanied by their live band with the instrumentals, Josh Wicker from 2016's American Idol and this season of The Voice, Dylan Gerard. It was such a fun night!
Congratulations, Mr. + Mrs. Guerra! Thank you for giving me the pleasure of documenting your beautiful day.
