It’s always such an honor when another photographer hires you. Especially when it’s to document their most important day. I’ve known the beautiful bride, Trish for over a decade now. Her daughter Elise and I went to high school together and her best friend Lisa was my math tutor. So I was very excited when Trish contacted me!
The bride and groom both come from greek heritage, so the two decided to have greek traditions by having their ceremony at Holy Ascension Greek Orthodox church. Their reception took place at Opal Sands Resort . Which I must say, Is an incredible resort with great accommodations, staff, ocean views, food and drinks. Clearwater beach Is the perfect backdrop for a wedding and reception. When the sun sets, The skies become beautiful colors of pink, orange and purple. I especially loved watching the sailboats sail by as guest were eating dinner and the kids were playing yard games.
The whole day was an absolute joy filled with a greek ceremony, beautiful warm, sunny weather, and the couple’s closest family and friends. Everyone traveled from all over for the celebration. The guest and the newly weds danced the night away to greek music and it was truly an event to remember.
Congratulations Mr. + Mrs. Koutavas!
